Have you seen this film? It is a
wonderful account of the world of insects. It was produced by a french
company, Agencie Jules Verne. The photograhy is wonderful. Would you

photography is spectacular. What kind of creatures are in the
film?
One of the first we meet there is the CHRYSALIS. As you may know, a butterfly doesn't start life as a
butterfly. It is first a larva, then a pupa and finally a butterfly.
In the transition from pupa to butterfly it is called a chrysalis. The one
is the movie is that of the monarch butterfly. The monarch's chrysalis
looks like this:

One of the next characters we
encounter in the film is the inch worm. They are called inch worms
because of they way they get around. They look like they are measuring
things as they move. Here is a picture of an inch worm in typical inch
